It's Labor Day Weekend. Oh, yes indeedy.

I went to the café after work, seven-ish, to have a beer. The café was packed, and they had reservations for all tables the whole night. I asked if they were making the counter reservation-only, and they weren't, but clearly the four seats were occupied by people who had just arrived and didn't look to be going anywhere soon.

I can't explain how crazy it gets in the café. It's got a disorganized foundation, and that creates further chaos as the night goes on. I could tell that the waitress I was talking to could hardly think straight. It was difficult for her to find the words to tell me they were full up.

I left.

No sense hovering around for a beer when the waitstaff are clearly Not Amused, no not in the least.

Café full. Brains full. Attitude full.

I'm going to the tubs.
