Read/Post Comments (4) Smooth rides make for boring stories. -Meredith Grey, Grey's Anatomy |
2008-09-04 3:18 PM It's my last pizza night It's my last pizza night, and that means I have to sing. We have open mic in the café on pizza nights, and I was a decent hit last time I went. That was at least a month ago. And now that it's my last one, I better haul out something half decent.
For sure, I want to sing Mishaela, a song in Hebrew that I learned. It is beautiful, both lyrically and melodically. Then of course my mind wanders. Should I sing something silly? Serious? Soulful? Sweet? Options include something by the ever-funny Uncle Bonsai, such as Women with a Y, Another Fat Song (a song about the lengths to which people will avoid exercise and use cosmetic surgery instead), or perhaps I Want a Man. Hmmm. Some of my standbys are Angel from Montgomery, um . . . New songs I would try are Many the Miles by Sarah Barreiles, and . . . and . . . I need to give this more thoughts. Suggestions welcome.
