sjrozan I'm a writer, at work on my 11th book. This blog is a record of random and less-random thoughts. If you want to know more about me, check my website, linked here. I also had a blog going from spring through late fall 2004 about the publishing process for my 9th book, ABSENT FRIENDS. That blog's called "Progress" and you can find the link here. I won't make any more entries but I'm leaving it up in case anyone's interested; the process is more or less the same from book to book. |

2004-03-30 6:31 PM The Kid was great Got back from Charlottesville Sunday, dashed off to Philadelphia early this morning for the day to see The Kid (the second-youngest of the Four Fabulous Nephews, 12 years old) play Bottom in the 6th grade production of Midsummer Night's Dream. It was worth the crazed roundtrip and the missed day of writing -- he was great! He's a natural actor. It was a terrific production, too, very ambitious, and well cast, and all the kids rose to their roles. But The Kid -- who's been acting for awhile now -- was spectacular. Next year he's off to middle school, and I'm seeing drama club, artsy crowd, black t-shirts, late night political talk, pizza and angst.
