me in the piazza

I'm a writer, publishing both as SJ Rozan and, with Carlos Dews, as Sam Cabot. (I'm Sam, he's Cabot.) Here you can find links to my almost-daily blog posts, including the Saturday haiku I've been doing for years. BUT the blog itself has moved to my website. If you go on over there you can subscribe and you'll never miss a post. (Miss a post! A scary thought!) Also, I'll be teaching a writing workshop in Italy this summer -- come join us!

Africa

If you haven't tuned in on Dan's blog to read his Africa pieces, you owe it to yourself.

About Dan, quoting himself from the blog:

"I am a mid-twenties Jewish guy from New Jersey who currently lives in New York City and works for social justice.

"Being Jewish, male, and working for social justice create tensions in my life which make up many of the themes for my writing. I also love to travel.

"I work for a faith-based social justice organization. Over the past three years, I have worked for a variety of organizations, mostly around public health and anti-globalization issues, mostly at least slightly left of center.

"I believe that another world is possible and our society's current course can most charitably be described as suicidal. I also believe that, despite everything, those fighting for justice are winning."

Now go to the link. It's worth it.
