me in the piazza

I'm a writer, publishing both as SJ Rozan and, with Carlos Dews, as Sam Cabot. (I'm Sam, he's Cabot.) Here you can find links to my almost-daily blog posts, including the Saturday haiku I've been doing for years. BUT the blog itself has moved to my website. If you go on over there you can subscribe and you'll never miss a post. (Miss a post! A scary thought!) Also, I'll be teaching a writing workshop in Italy this summer -- come join us!

We interrupt this Chinathon...

...to bring you this, just in: THE CHOPIN MANUSCRIPT, a serial thriller edited by Jim Fusilli, wherein I wrote Chapter Five, won 2008 Audiobook of the Year. And as if that weren't cool enough, consider the competition:

Steven Colbert’s I AM AMERICA;

THE BIBLE EXPERIENCE, a star-studded, multi-cast recording of the Old Testament featuring talent like Denzel Washington;

THE INVENTION OF HUGO CABRET, a wonderfully creative children’s book;

and, last but not least, HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS.

To quote Jeff Deaver, who wrote the first and last chapters: "I mean, beating God and Harry Potter is one thing . . . but Colbert????? It's a humbling experience."

So check it out at audible.com.

And while you're checking things out, the deadline is nearing for registering for the Assisi workshop. So if you've been thinking about signing up, now is the time. And if you haven't been thinking about it, why not?
