me in the piazza

I'm a writer, publishing both as SJ Rozan and, with Carlos Dews, as Sam Cabot. (I'm Sam, he's Cabot.) Here you can find links to my almost-daily blog posts, including the Saturday haiku I've been doing for years. BUT the blog itself has moved to my website. If you go on over there you can subscribe and you'll never miss a post. (Miss a post! A scary thought!) Also, I'll be teaching a writing workshop in Italy this summer -- come join us!

Winner! We've got a winner! And another contest

Okay, you guys. The winner of the first contest has got to be Michael for his illustrative and informative camel-mile explanation. ed king comes in a strong second, and Lola gets a dishonorable mention. All those of you who sent in legit answers about chamomile tea, thanks; I learned a lot, though I still haven't got a clue about the Egypt/Alaska situation. So Michael, send me the mailing address you want this ARC to go to, and it'll be winging its way.

And, yes, Rachel, I have nine more galleys, and nine more contest questions. And here are two of them: what would you choose for Lydia Chin and Bill Smith to use for cellphone ringtones for each other? Note: Lydia's actual choice for Bill appears in THE SHANGHAI MOON, but not before, so you don't have to go and reread everything I've ever written to find the answer. This is a you-make-it-up. You can send in entries for both, but you only get one ARC, so today's contest will have two winners. Michael, you're not eligible but you certainly can keep sending entries because you're a riot. B.G., you're not eligible for the Bill ringtone, but you can go ahead and suggest a ringtone for Bill to give Lydia.
