me in the piazza

I'm a writer, publishing both as SJ Rozan and, with Carlos Dews, as Sam Cabot. (I'm Sam, he's Cabot.) Here you can find links to my almost-daily blog posts, including the Saturday haiku I've been doing for years. BUT the blog itself has moved to my website. If you go on over there you can subscribe and you'll never miss a post. (Miss a post! A scary thought!) Also, I'll be teaching a writing workshop in Italy this summer -- come join us!

Okay, okay

ed king's telling me I'm behind on my posts. True. There's so much I want to rant about, politically; and the river's been impressive these last few days, especially yesterday in the hard, driving rain. My umbrella was less impressive, though; but I went out and bought a new Muji one, and today I bought rain boots -- my entire contribution to the economy this month, I can assure you -- so bring that weather on!

Anyway, my problem, besides being up to my arse in alligators (can I say that here?) is, I have a bacterial infection in my right eye -- okay, I have two different bacterial infections simultaneously -- that, while no longer making me look like Charles Laughton doing Quasimodo (Google him yourself, it's too revolting to link to) still are slowing me down.

So instead of getting on to politics, or books, I'm going to give you my very favorite news story of the day. All Of Me, Why Not Take All Of Me...
