Rising sun gleaming
On delicate steel columns
In old ferry slips.
White ice on pilings,
Green moss ring, barnacle studs,
Slick water laps wood.
Goose cloud rises, swoops,
Settles. Two seagulls fly down,
Join geese for breakfast.
