me in the piazza

I'm a writer, publishing both as SJ Rozan and, with Carlos Dews, as Sam Cabot. (I'm Sam, he's Cabot.) Here you can find links to my almost-daily blog posts, including the Saturday haiku I've been doing for years. BUT the blog itself has moved to my website. If you go on over there you can subscribe and you'll never miss a post. (Miss a post! A scary thought!) Also, I'll be teaching a writing workshop in Italy this summer -- come join us!

More weather

Today is as spectacularly calm, if such a thing is possible, as yesterday evening was astoundingly wild. Cool, bright, cloudless. Clear, all the heat haze washed out by that brief waterfall from above. No grand jury today, so I took the laptop down to the river, worked down there, watching barges, tugs, and a diving tern. Heading back out soon, only blogging at you now because I had to come in and recharge. The computer, I mean; I got my charge in the park.

And Happy Bastille Day, by the way!
