It is a spooky Halloween outside: high winds, some snow earlier in the day, crazy Lake Michigan waves. I'm happy to stay indoors tonight. As there will be no trick or treaters coming to my place (I live in a 2nd floor flat.), I intend on re-reading The Crucible and watching my favorite Halloween movie, Hocus Pocus. If you have any spare time for reading tonight, might I suggest The Black Cat, a short story by Edgar Allan Poe? You can find it online. I read it a couple of years ago and it disturbed me so much that I might never read it again! |
