Reading today: nothing yet
Music today: Me singing "On Top of Spaghetti"
TV today: Noggin TV - "Sesame Too"
-----------------------------------

We have digital cable and get a channel called Noggin. It's kid's shows all day. In between shows they don't have commercials - it's rhymes, poems, little activities, and music. My favorite music is by a lady named Laurie Berkner. She is so funny! Great songs about silly things. She plays guitar and in her videos, kids dance and do silly movements.

So I looked her up online to see what CDs she has. I went to Amazon of course. I discovered a secret world of children stuff! Along with Laurie's 4 CDs, there are Wiggles, Raffi, and all kinds of other musicians! Following links to videos, books, other CDs... it's crazy! All these people who are "well known" and "popular with kids." I've never heard of them! It's like an entire subculture that's underground, discovered only once you have a child.

All these TV shows, too. Odd, like Boohbah. Or Miffy, Maisy, Connie the Cow... the list goes on. Sesame Street has "Sesame Too" which is a briefer and condensed version of regular Sesame (lots more Elmo). I will have to do more research on this subculture and report back to the rest of the world. :)
