With most projects it is often suggested that the best place to begin is there, at the beginning. When dealing with Los Angeles, the first settled culture here was a detachment of Spanish Missionaries who came from the San Gabriel Mission. They founded La Inglesia de Nuestra Senora Reina de los Angeles Church which although rebuilt using materials from the original, still stands to this day. This has the feel of being the perfect starting point for the first walk.
