Helllllloooooo!

Howdy Folks!

I know it's been a while. Sorry about that! We've had a lot and nothing going on, all at the same time.

Tomorrow will be our one month anniversary in the new house and it's been fabulous! Christmas with both of our families was so much fun. If it hadn't been for Matt's parents arriving the day we moved in, we wouldn't have gotten half as settled as we were by the time my parents arrived.

Then we had a small New Year's party, with some of the girls that work with me and their boyfriends and my really good friend Theresa and her husband Mitch. We had a blast! And we also did another night of ice skating. I'm pretty sure I'm ready to try out for the Olympics. I really think I've got a good chance of making the team ;-)

I've been fairly busy writing summer orders for the store. Only a few more to go and then I'll be done until May. I can't complain though. It is a lot of fun.

Matt, Heap and I went to Annapolis this past weekend to watch the Raven's game with a bunch of friends. Needless to say I was not happy with the outcome. Gee, I'm really excited about watching the backstabbing Colts and the 'I'm really sick of watching them-can't stand Bill Belichick-whatever Butt Chin Brady' Patriots. I think I would rather play with a book of matches in the middle of a haystack during a drought. But other than the game we had a really nice time hanging out with our friends ;-)

I took off work from last Thursday to this Thursday and it was great. As well as our little out of town trip, we got a lot done around the house. It's nice having a husband that owns painting company . He painted a bunch of stuff, stained our coffee table, tv stand and shelf and has done some redecorating. The house is really coming together nicely.

I tried to do some relaxing, some reading and I wanted to do some writing, but when I've got Matt running around the house like a mad man, I have to at least act like I'm keeping busy or he gets mad at me. I guess I can't blame him. At least he's doing all the big stuff.

So, that's what I've been doing, where I've been, etc. for the past few weeks.

I really need to get back on my writing schedule, but that probably won't happen for another few weeks yet. Seeing as there is still stuff that needs to be done around the house, I won't be doing it here, so maybe when my boss leaves for St. Thomas I'll have time to do it at work for the several weeks he's away.

Hope everyone is doing well, and I'll be keeping in touch - promise!
