BRRRRRRR!

It's still cold as hell outside. Since Monday, the temperature has not risen higher than 30 degrees, with the average being somewhere aroun 18 degrees. It has been so cold that the bay has been frozen since Tuesday. Now, keep in mind, the bay is a large body of saltwater and it usually takes extremely cold temps for it to freeze. I've seen it happen a few times over the years, but only once to this extent. Normally it freezes around the shoreline and that's about it.

Coming from my house into town means I have to cross over two bridges, and I get a great view of the frozen water. So, I decided that I was going to bring my camera with me yesterday and take some pics while I was driving. Safe, right? I know, that's me!

Here's what I was able to capture. If someone else would have been with me, they would be much better shots, but considering these were taken while holding the camera up and driving along, well, you get the picture -pun intended ;-)
