A summery of Your Favorite Annoying T...

Hello, I am YFAT or Lo. I have been writing/around on Journal Scape for over a decade now. Time flies! This journal chronicles my random thoughts, high moments and sometimes low, throughout high school, college, and now beyond, into the world of "adulthood", whatever that means.

Sinerely, ~Lo

To the future

To the future
To Me

Please don't let this world fall apart,
This wonderful beautiful thing.
Please don't let this world fall apart,
Don't get lost in material rings.
Please keep her strong,
Keep her carrying on
Because there is so much than you can do.
Don't just eat what they feed to you.
Care about others and strive for the truth
Always push for the perfect, not just the lose
Money-man trying to tell you where you stand
When where you stand is now
In the world slowly crumbling down.
Right may not always be forward
But to the right, to the left, backward
and around.
Those in power can always be taken out
It's just a matter of voice, of action, you can't just pout about.
Don't be blinded by other people's lives
Look at your own and be sure to do it right.

To the future
To Me
I love this earth you see.
So defend her to your dying day
Even if defend means to die as you say
"I am the problem. Nature it not.
So lets do this now, let us just stop
In this needless expansion,
These over grand mansions.
We've over stepped our bounds
So lets just turn around.
The walls will fall
The damage be undone,
hopefully to fade before we vanish in to the sun."

It's just my thoughts lately. I have always thought since I was a small child that there is only so far that man should advance before we over step our bounds, before technology is more of a hindrance than a help. There are reasons why there are diseases and sickness and super bacteria and struggle. Nature has these things there for a reason and we keep ignoring the warning signs. I'm just worried.
And then there are these things in our country, like reporters no longer doing their job, like corporations owning everything, like the divides growing and no one getting together and really doing anything. There are all these small organizations that claim to be changing things but they're not. How can anything change when there is still so much ignorance? Great minds don't necessarily mean right minds.
I'm just frustrated.
I feel like things are crumbling and no one has any real solution. There is only so much you can say until words become meaningless.
Maybe that's why new languages form, because people stop listening after a while so someone makes something new, that will convey better in sound the emotion and action that one is needing.
Why is it that the headlines are all celebreties now instead of anything that has meaning?
Why is it that the strength of my college is failing?
Why isn't anyone thinking collectively anymore?
I'm tired of it. Because it not about him, her, it, I, person. It is them, us, we, they, people, community. We are connected though not in body but at least in mind somehow. That's why the only reason things ever truly change is through and entire cultural movement.

Ooomballa doomda koma tisa nole ta may na ka. Tibita umnaya quibata ton iqua nwmat. K'i ni'ina mal bwa.
It is the strange senseless tongue that I talk to myself in when especially upset, when trying to express things that English has no go sound combination for. None of it has any meaning expect to calm me and let my mouth ramble on senselessly without worrying about the thoughts behind it.

*sighs*
I just want to keep community alive.
The world is connected together more than ever but in what sense of the word?
I feel responsible. I feel restless. I don't have the perfect answer yet, don't have any plan for action but when I do find it I will be there.

I'm gonna roll out and ponder more.
Peace.
~Lo
