Read/Post Comments (0) Hello, I am YFAT or Lo. I have been writing/around on Journal Scape for over a decade now. Time flies! This journal chronicles my random thoughts, high moments and sometimes low, throughout high school, college, and now beyond, into the world of "adulthood", whatever that means. Sinerely, ~Lo |
2009-02-26 4:53 PM Espanol Proyecto Okay, so I started my papers but then remembered I have a draft of my Spanish project due tomorrow.
We had to write a story in Spanish and write an English version and include a glossary and pictures. I wrote it in Spanish first and then in English since I figured that would be easier. As I wrote it in Spanish my idea when elsewhere. I was originally going to rewrite my original Alimon intro in Spanish and then ended up writing a story called "Cuando Tocaba el Cielo" or "When I Touched the Sky." It is about a girl who goes to her grandmother's house in the country, is exploring in the woods and encounters a huge tree, so tall it touches the sky. She wants to touch the sky too so she climbs the tree and looks at the world and touches the sky. She climbs down and her grandmother is looking for her. She tells her grandmother and they walk back to her grandmother's house. I liked it. Imagery based as I feel today with this nice weather. I ended up going about 50 words over in both the English and Spanish versions. I cannot do short sometimes....not with Spanish anyway. I like the result though. I might expand upon the English one for fun later. It is really cool writing in another language. I think if I tried to speak English right now I would be garbled though. My tongue is caught in the Spanish rythems and cadence. But for now I must go eat food and then come back and finish up that project and really get on my papers. Adios. Pax. ~Lo 20 days of YFAT Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
