Your Favorite Annoying Teen

Dear JournalScape,

Hi! I'm still alive. WHOA! YOU ARE STILL ALIVE! I'm about to turn 25 in a week! Mad right? Quarter century, mother heifers!!!

I mainly came here to say that I am starting to write again. It's been a while, too long. I'm starting slow and small and short but I'm coming back to my voice bit by bit. I've been scribbling the usual shit in my notebooks all along, and of course the micro-blogs of Facebook and Tumblr (and fuck Twitter and Instagram all the other social media shit that I can no way keep up with in spite of being a Millenial. Also, fuck smartphones because I really don't need to be connected that much, kaaaay?). But what I'm trying to do is truly write again, get back to the honesty and deeper contemplations and capturing raw feeling and observances. I'm getting back to believing in my voice as the only person hearing it. No fears, no judgements, only what I put on the page.
