2003-12-04 4:21 PM Türkei Tetrazini mit Zeppelins Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Contemplative Read/Post Comments (2) I've pretty much spent all day on job-hunting stuff, so now I'm keen to sit back and relax for the evening. I'm planning on getting stuck into Wolves of the Calla over the next few days, since I'm still only about 150 pages into it. Once that's taken care of, I'll finally be able to get back to the ever-growing pile of short story mags and chapbooks! Thanksgiving continues to echo into this week in the form of leftovers! The stuffing, mashed potatoes and so forth are long gone, but the turkey remains. Last night we had Turkey Tetrazini, which was delicious and should last us a couple more meals. And in case we're not sick of turkey just yet, we have enough left over to make soup! A little turkey soup might be just the thing to counteract the effects of the rain and snow we're having here :) Despite having finished my Zeppelin research the other week (which was quite fun, I might add), I'm still yet to make a start on the story! The problem with Zeppelins, Blimps, and other Dirigibles is that there are so damn many story possibilities. No wonder David Moles and Jay Lake decided to put together an anthology on the subject! Meanwhile I continue to jot down story ideas (about Zeppelins and other things) that pop into my head. I keep telling myself that sooner or later I'm going to sit down and turn them all into stories, but when? Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
