Carn, write!

Found the new A Scanner Darkly trailer via BoingBoing the other day.

It looks very interesting, but it's hard to tell how it'll stack up against Philip K. Dick's original novel. It'll be worth seeing for the animation technique used, if nothing else!

Then there's an early pitch for the movie from a mob called RustMonkey. Now that is very freaky... the feel seems to be much closer to that of the novel than the one that is actually getting made.

I still can't get that bizarre and disturbing image out of my head (I won't spoil it here), and that line of dialogue: I'm going to college.

Weird.
