Well, today it finally happened. The price of petrol here passed $3 per gallon! Admittedly that was for premium (which is what I use), but regular isn't far behind.

It's still probably only about half what they pay in Europe or Australia, but it's still a shock after paying very little for so long.

I can't say I'm surprised, however. It'll be interesting to see how far it climbs before dropping back again, if it ever does....

As for writing news, I guess no news is good news on the submission front. I've still got 7 doing the rounds and there haven't been too many rejections coming in of late. Now that I've said that, I'm sure they'll all pour in at once!
