Despite having grand plans for editing and polishing several stories and possibly starting a new one, I ended up taking it easy this weekend. At the moment I'm ploughing through a Lovecraft story collection I've been reading most of this year. I'm hoping to get through that in the next few days and get started on something else.

We watched a couple of movies, including The Wicker Man (very weird) and Final Destination. I would've watched the latter years ago if I hadn't been flying so much around the time it came out. It's an okay yarn.

Last night I made a batch of chili using a recipe from a fellow aspiring spec-fic writer, S.F. Murphy. That turned out pretty well, and we had a tonne of leftovers, too.

At some point this week I'll be working on my stories. I just need to read a few more tales of mystery and madness first....
