I've been busy over the last couple of days sending out submissions and editing stories, hence the lack of journal entries.

I finally finished editing Craddock's Cow this morning after taking a night off writing and working on another story, so I'll send that out shortly. I hacked off nearly 2000 words and the piece seems leaner and better paced now :)

I revisited Repo Clowns after some comments in a recent rejection, slimming it down by about 400 words. The pacing was a bit off and the ending just a little too long, I reckon. Hopefully now it works better than it did. Funny how you can be blind to these things soon after writing a story, but they become rather more obvious after some time has passed.

It's a long weekend for me, so I'm looking forward to writing a new yarn and polishing up some old stuff. I've also got a lot of reading to do. Later!
