Avi's Clarion West Write-a-Thon Journal

Hi, my name is Avi, and I am nine years old and in the fourth grade. I like soccer, my favorite holiday is Christmas, and I like to drink hot chocolate when I write in coffee shops. This blog is about me writing for six weeks for at least fifteen minutes a day for the Clarion West Write-a-thon. Check out my Write-a-thon page here. This link tells you about the Clarion West Write-a-thon.

WAT ends

This is Avi's mom with Avi's update. Avi's with his dad right now, so I'm updating you all on his Write-a-Thon progress.

We lost Internet access for much of the summer, so updating Avi's blog was difficult. Avi continued to write, completing five stories during the Clarion West Write-a-Thon. He enjoyed writing so much he asked for help submitting his stories for publication. As a result, his new stories will not be posted here as they would then be considered published by most markets.

Avi plans to continue writing stories, and thinks he may even want to write books when he grows up.

I'm so proud of Avi. He set a goal, and he met it. He developed his academic skills and his ability to dream.

Look for more blog posts from Avi in the future.

Also, some of you are expecting an e-copy of "The Microwave" at some point. I'm having technical issues, so it's taking some time, but I haven't forgotten.
