2010-06-23 4:36 PM UN-BE-LIEV-ABLE Has anyone been watching the Isner/Mahut Wimbledon tennis match?
The one that has gone on for TWO DAYS NOW and is still not over? Just look in the sports section of your papers or internet. This story will blow you away. The score so far, and this is the second day of this one match, is 2 sets to Isner, 2 sets to Mahut, and in the 5th set, the score is 59 games to 59 games. Oh yeah, you read that right. These two young men have played 118 games in the 5th set - SO FAR! This is blowing my mind. They had to call the game on account of darkness - for the 2nd day in a row. I'm not making this up! Cheers, Bex EPILOGUE: American John Isner won the 5th set, one hour into the match on the third day in a row, at 70-68. He is still scheduled to play his doubles match today, but I kind of hope the tennis Gods are looking down on him and it is moved to another day. Wow. That's all anyone can say about this. Wow.
