Oban, Scotland - 1986



I know there are some people here who have an interest in Scotland. I just found a web site I thought you might like and wanted to share it with you. (I've also included it in my list of links to the left on this blog.)

Rampant Scotland

I just happened on this site whilst looking up a recipe for potato pancakes. This has a great Recipe section as well as many, many other links to great Scottish sites. I hope you enjoy it, if you've a mind to, as much as I have today!

The picture at the top of this page is one I took on our honeymoon back in 1986 in Oban, Scotland. Our B&B was in one of those houses pictured. It's on the very western coast of mainland Scotland, looking out to the islands off the coastline. We stayed in that B&B for about 4 days and were totally enchanted by the town of Oban, pictured below.
