2012-06-19 3:23 PM Trimming the Tree (in June?) It was a quiet day in Lake Crow-Be-Gone, that is, until the tree trimming operation moved into the neighborhood. Apparently, the So a trim it got... ... as you can see. And a couple of times I thought that man would move himself, and his bucket, right into the live wires, but I guess he knows what he's doing. I hope he does anyway. Not a job for the squeamish. The chipper part of the operation has been going hereabouts most of the day, too. Down the street it's been working its way up into this neighborhood and it's finally gone now. All is quiet on the Hill. For the first time in about 6 hours. The dogs got a kick out of all the hoop-la, and it got me up out of my chair for a little bit. So now we're all back to normal again here. Time to settle down to our pre-dinner rest-up before the Big Boss gets home from the sea... then it's all hands on deck for supper fixins. Just another day on the Hill at Crow Cottage... Cheers, Bex & Co.
