It seems that if you have a "hotmail" email address, you cannot sign up here at JournalScape to be notified by email of new entries (see the GET EMAIL UPDATES link above).

I have figured this out because my friend Sandy was not getting notifications even though she had tried signing up many times. She used to get them but a while ago they stopped coming to her. On Kenny's advice, she checked her spam folder but they were not in there. Then I asked her to use another (gmail) addy she had and sure enough, it went through fine and she got signed up with that.

So I have to deduce that "hotmail" is the problem. My question to you is - have any of you tried signing up with JournalScape for email notifications using a "hotmail" address? If so, were you successful in doing so?

I looked at my notify list and not one person has "hotmail" on there. That's when I got suspicious. Now I'm convinced that "hotmail" is the problem but I don't know why.

If anyone has an answer to this, both Kenny Wyland and I would love to know it.
