Just to keep you up-to-date on all-things-Emmalee...



She has had a tough 2 days here. She didn't want to eat yesterday, but I got her to finally eat supper. Today she wouldn't touch food or even a cookie bone. She plopped down on her bed and would not get up again. Her incision area felt very puffy...

Paul took her down to vet's at 8 am.

She is still with us, but she's at dog-hospital. She had "puss" in the incision area and had a 3-degree temp rise... so she is now on antibiotics and IV fluids down there for the time being.

Kip is not happy.
Paul is not happy.
Yours truly is not happy.

Yes, it could be worse, but it could be a whole lot better, too. So we're hoping for the better part...

That's all we know so far. Will keep you advised as we know anything more.

I'm not 100% sure I believe in the power of prayer, but now might not be a time to be a non-believer, so any prayers you could offer up for our sweet Emmalee would be most appreciated - they certainly can't hurt. And thanks.
