The following appeared in the Salem Evening News today, Monday, July 7, 2014:

"Friday

A caller at 2:03 a.m. told police that while fishing "in Marblehead near a small island" his boat sank. He was unsure of the exact location. "There is no one left on the boat," according to the log, "and when they left, only the bow of the boat remained above water." The boater and his father returned to the landing on another vessel.

The theft of 150 pounds of lobsters was reported on Front Street at 12:52 p.m.

A car on Cedar Street was jacked up and all four tires stolen, as logged at 1:11 p.m."

I'm putting it here just to confirm that Paul did, indeed, report the theft of approximately 150 lobsters from his crates this past weekend.

To make matters worse, his boat was having trouble and he couldn't get out lobstering yesterday, so today he has had it hauled out and he's been working, in the heat/humidity, on the boat all day. He had to have the engine pulled out and then he had to take the engine up to Hansen Marine so they can try to fix it.

Boating is so much fun...
