ORTHOSTATIC HYPOTENSION

He went to the cardiologist today, and he was told that he does NOT have vertigo at all, that he does NOT have to see an ENT doctor, and that after doing the test for this ailment, or condition, he diagnosed Paul with Orthostatic Hypotension.

He has no medications to take. He will see the doctor back in six months. He does not have to wear a Holter monitor, and he came home from this appointment quite relieved. On the way home he stopped off at Market Basket with my weekly shopping list and did the food shopping!

Good old hubs...

The doctor told Paul that what he has been doing is just right - when he wakes up in the morning, he goes slowly, sits up and turns his head slowly from side to side for a minute or two, before standing upright from the bed.

So a week later, we have an answer to what happened to him.

Now, if only my computer would get resolved as easily! It seems that lately, every time there is an update put onto my laptop, either OK'd by me or even just automatically, like the one from Firefox today did, then I have all kinds of problems, and in order to resolve them, I have to go in and "restore my computer to a previous date" - which helps.

Now I am paranoid about these updates and I am not taking them, but that can't be good as I know there are necessary updates out there.

What I'm hoping for, at this point, is that once I get my new "tablet" operational (please let it be easy!), I won't have these types of problems. Will I?
