Well, Mom went home today. She isn't herself yet by a long shot, but she only has to be stable enough not to be a threat to be released. Some members of the family want to put her into a more structured living arrangement, but the waiting lists are six or more months and chances are that nothing will get done by then. I'm going to invoke my powers as a licensed professional asshole tomorrow and see if I can get her to the top of a senior housing list, but I'm not hopeful.

It was only an extra $20.00 per month with no hookup fees. They don't have cable out here, but I am within 3 miles of a phone station. This is very nice.
