The power was out at my apartment for about 18 hours. I had wanted to do some stuff on the computer but otherwise no biggie. Just spent the night at my sister's house. We are a bit too far inland to be badly effected by a hurricane. Snow storms - yes. Hurricanes - no.

In other news my daughter has her first boyfriend. I knew that we should never have potty trained her. No, her mom has met him and she says he is a nice kid. He is a tall red headed geeky dude. I first learned about him from her mom, but did not tell my daughter I knew. She spontaneously told me when we met for breakfast this morning. Tonight they have a date to go see 'Underworld'.
