Brainsalad The frightening consequences of electroshock therapy I'm a middle aged government attorney living in a rural section of the northeast U.S. I'm unmarried and come from a very large family. When not preoccupied with family and my job, I read enormous amounts, toy with evolutionary theory, and scratch various parts on my body. This journal is filled with an enormous number of half-truths and outright lies, including this sentence. |

2004-05-30 9:11 PM B-day and movie reviews It's my birthday today. I turned 38. It's now been almost 20 years since I graduated from high school. The reunion thing is coming up, but I think I'll skip it.
We had a little party at my sister 2 of 12's house. The temperature was in the upper 60s and the sky was cloudless. We did some barbecue and hung out by the pool. My daughter came over. There is a little hill behind the house, and for no reason at all I decided to roll down it. Then I got one of those saucer sleds and slid down. The dog became excited and was barking at me. A bunch of us went for a quarter mile walk. I decided to go barefoot. The blacktop on the road was warm but not hot, and when cars came I would jump over the gravel along the roadside and into the grass. ______________________________________________ Movie reviews: Shaolin soccer - Disjointed plot, unbelievable characters. So stupid it is cool. A really fun movie. Kungfu superheroes in a soccer match. One guy kicks a ball so hard that it knocks over the goal and tears the clothes off the goalie. People forced to wear wear underwear on their heads when beaten by Team Gangster. Kung fu pie making woman of the amazingly bad bald wig. I suspect that more high budget American films with superhero football and basketball players will follow. Shrek2 - It was fun, but not as fun for me as Shrek1. Not quite as many inside jokes as the first one, and the plot was too similiar. Worth the ticket price, but just didn't do it the way the first one did. Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
