The frightening consequences of electroshock therapy

I'm a middle aged government attorney living in a rural section of the northeast U.S. I'm unmarried and come from a very large family. When not preoccupied with family and my job, I read enormous amounts, toy with evolutionary theory, and scratch various parts on my body.

This journal is filled with an enormous number of half-truths and outright lies, including this sentence.

Not sick from the little red berries

I've had the flu the last couple of days. I slept most of the day yesterday, and I am taking today off from work. I haven't eaten since Saturday, and I'm starting to get pretty hungry, but I don't have any food in the house, and I have to wait for work to call so we can figure out what to do with my court hearing today. I spent Saturday with the woman I am currently dating. I think I might have caught this from her since she had something similar about two weeks ago.

This new woman I am seeing went through a phase in her teens where she collected naturally growing herbs. So on Saturday we went for a hike in the woods and found these small red berries growing on the ground, which she called T-berries. They don't have a lot of taste, but she assured me they were edible. When I got sick yesterday, at first I wondered if it might be food poisoning, but she ate more than I did and was fine, so it's definitely the flu.

Not much else to report. Had planned on seeing my daughter on Sunday, but when I woke up feeling like yuck I knew that wasn't happening.
