Brainsalad The frightening consequences of electroshock therapy I'm a middle aged government attorney living in a rural section of the northeast U.S. I'm unmarried and come from a very large family. When not preoccupied with family and my job, I read enormous amounts, toy with evolutionary theory, and scratch various parts on my body. 2005-01-03 10:50 AM Yes, I've been ignoring this Went to Washington, DC for the weekend with my girlfriend. Weather on Saturday was absolutely great, with temperatures in the 60s. I got to see the new FDR and WWII memorials, and we spent an afternoon in the Natural History Museum.
I guess I could do a 2004 favorites list (not necessarily came out in 2004, but enjoyed by me first in 2004): Favorite movie of the year: Spiderman 2 Favorite Non-fiction book: Peterson's Guide to Eastern Forests Favorite Fiction book: Prodigal Summer by Barbara Kingsolver Favorite new music You are the Quarry by Morrissey ACCOMPLISHMENTS FOR THE YEAR Work: Continued to develop trial skills and gain self-confidence. Had a number of excellent wins and a number of troubling losses in court Social Life Can't complain. Three girlfriends, a fair number of other dates. This last one is going fine. Family Life Eh, I have a teenager. What can I say? Really Neat Things Jumped out of an airplane. Travelled all over the U.S. Did a lot of hiking. Worked on piano. Became a level 1 druid. Financial Situation Semi-stable, which means not great. Master Plan to become Famous and Important Yeah, sure. Not much else to report from my end of the world. Things are going fine, and I haven't much to say. I head back to work tomorrow after being off since Wednesday. Hopefully, the batteries are sufficiently recharged.
