The frightening consequences of electroshock therapy

I'm a middle aged government attorney living in a rural section of the northeast U.S. I'm unmarried and come from a very large family. When not preoccupied with family and my job, I read enormous amounts, toy with evolutionary theory, and scratch various parts on my body.

This journal is filled with an enormous number of half-truths and outright lies, including this sentence.

If everything works out, I'm going to be an uncle again sometime in September. My sister 2 of 12, who will be 43 this year, is pregnant. She already has two girls, ages 16 and 13. It came as something as a surprise to my sister and her husband, but a happy one. They had wanted to have another for years, but some problems my sister had with cysts had lead her to believe that she couldn't conceive again.

I hope it is a boy this time. My brother-in-law loves his girls, but he is the sort that should really have a boy. He is the classic, testosterone heavy, man's man. He is sparing with his words, a hunter, fixes cars for a living (Well, he runs his own auto repair business and has half a dozen employees), and was the starting quarterback of his high school football team. Of course, he'll be over sixty by the time this one graduates from high school.

It is President's Day and the office is closed, but I am writing from work. I have a client coming in at 1:00 p.m., a few orders to prepare, and my boss is planning on being here so that we can do a review of all my active cases. It goes with the territory, and anyone expecting to become a lawyer and being able to work 9 to 5 is out of their gourd. All of the attorneys here work late at least night a week, and about half make it in on the weekends. People in private practice work much longer hours.

Oh well, better get cracking.
