The frightening consequences of electroshock therapy

I'm a middle aged government attorney living in a rural section of the northeast U.S. I'm unmarried and come from a very large family. When not preoccupied with family and my job, I read enormous amounts, toy with evolutionary theory, and scratch various parts on my body.

This journal is filled with an enormous number of half-truths and outright lies, including this sentence.

Mandatory Christmas Entry - Extended Version

Favorite gifts that I got people:

How to Be Pope: What to Do and Where to Go Once You're in the Vatican. I got this for my boss, who is a lesbian.

On a related note: A twenty-five dollar gift certificate for McDonalds for my sister the nun. She is too skinny. I also got McDonald's gift certificates for two of my nieces, because there's nothing that will make their parents happier than having to take their kids to McDonalds half a dozen times.

Uglies by Scott Westerfeld, because this is one of the few times that my daughter has actually liked and read a book I got her. Westerfeld writes some pretty decent adult fiction too.

Biggest bombs: Fortunately I noticed that my mother already had the DVD of "The Passion of the Christ" before I actually gave it to her, and I bought something else. Unfortunately, I can't figure what store I got it from. So here I am an atheist with a copy of "The Passion of the Christ" that I don't know what the heck to do with.

Runner up is probably Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood by Marjane Satrapi. I thought my sister 10 of 12 might like it since her husband is from the Middle East, but she looked at it like "What?", and I noticed it went into her bag without her even removing the plastic wrapping. Still, she does a lot of flying for her job, so she may end up finding herself enjoying it anyway.

My favorite gift: A Syracuse Orangeman baseball cap my brother got me. I just like it. Runner up - a couple of books I got.
