2007-01-29 5:18 PM Sucked in again The reason I haven't posted recently is that I've been sucked in by the new expansion to the online game "World of Warcraft". I'm working the hours I need to and then going home to become a humanoid bull creature with an affinity for nature, and a horse legged blue alien with special elemental powers. The game is very addictive, and I'm less active when the weather gets cold and the days are short here.
Compared with City of Heroes/Villains, World of Warcraft is a much more hardcore game. The strategies are tougher, the gamers are more serious, and it takes a lot longer to advance in the game. It is on the other hand, an extremely beautiful game world to play in. I'm expecting this cycle of addiction to end around the same time as the snow dissappears.
