Brainsalad The frightening consequences of electroshock therapy I'm a middle aged government attorney living in a rural section of the northeast U.S. I'm unmarried and come from a very large family. When not preoccupied with family and my job, I read enormous amounts, toy with evolutionary theory, and scratch various parts on my body. This journal is filled with an enormous number of half-truths and outright lies, including this sentence. |

2007-08-13 3:35 AM Weekend summary No. I didn't convert to Christianity this weekend. Hope nobody freaked out. Wrote that last entry while I was slightly tipsy. Was struck later how, if you make just a very slight number of substitutions, it could be someone urging their partner to try anal sex.
Anyway, not much new from my world. Had a gorgeous weekend. Stayed out with co-workers until about 10 p.m. on Friday. Had a few drinks, but I made sure to stay under the driving limit. (.02% per drink for 150 lb person, which I am not, and one hour to get rid of .02% alcohol, with DUAI at .06 and DUI at .08). My female co-workers tried to get me to dance. They failed. But I enjoyed listening to the band that was playing outdoors. Saturday, I spent a few hours prepping for the hike I led on Sunday. Had fifteen people, and it went fine. Went swimming at a local lake afterwards. Also bought a new office chair for my computer. My old one broke a few months ago, and I had been using a folding chair instead. About two weeks ago, I ended up with persistent pain in my left shoulder and decided it was time for a new chair. The pain is still there actually. It's a sharp throb that doesn't seem to go away. It doesn't restrict movement, but it did get worse after I spent a while on the computer. Hopefully with the new chair it will gradually go away.
