There is NO-ONE like Louis Armstrong, to pull you out of a melancholy moment and inspire you to get your Christmas shopping done!

In the words of Benny Green:

"A jazz musician is a juggler who uses harmonies instead of oranges".

So, who better to help me juggle my never-ending list of 'things to do' by tomorrow night?

....Okay, now back to the list - must remember to add oranges.

CABARET.

What good is sitting alone in your room?
Come hear the music play.
Life is a Cabaret, old chum,
Come to the Cabaret.

Put down the knitting, the book and the broom.
Time for a holiday.
Life is Cabaret, old chum,
Come to the Cabaret.

Come taste the wine,
Come hear the band.
Come blow your horn,
Start celebrating;
Right this way,
Your table's waiting

No use permitting some prophet of doom
To wipe every smile away.
Life is a Cabaret, old chum,
Come to the Cabaret!
