Mood:
Melodramatic

I'm feeling a little melodramatic today.

Someone I don't even know really, has pissed me off and caught me in a mood - so I've decided to take it to heart and drown in self-pity.
It's not even over a big thing, I guess I'm just 'that way out' (bring on the opera music *lol*).

It really is a good job I wasn't born in a different era. I swear, in this mood, I would be the one squeezing high pitched wails from my over-tight bodice..."Woe is me"

...maybe you could have the smelling salts ready, just in case?

A few days ago I went to the cupboard and pulled out some old photo albums - I was looking for a specific picture of me in a parka (I never found it, by the way).

I did, however pull the covers off a lot of memories I had completely boxed away....how could I?

Our college pictures are always good for a laugh...
The perm was so cute! and what was the name of that band??? ...(no seriously, what was it?).

The 21st birthday shots of T and our best friends, (they were still at college and sharing a house) grimacing outside of the 'Help the Aged' thrift store.

Awww... *sigh* ... the college pics of T!!!
(cute smile, drunk with a hanky tied on his head, roll-up in his hand, doesn't matter which).

I would look at them for hours...longing for Friday to come, so I could hop on the bus and head off to spend the weekend with him...there were never enough hours in those two days.

I love the vacation shots too...I can smell the Ambre Solaire oil and mosquito repellant, when we 'ran away' to Majorca, using every penny we could scrape together, at the end of the college year.

Ahhh...good times!

I seem to be looking back a lot, lately.
I guess that's kind of sad...

"Woe is me"..... *faints*
