I've been listening too much to the Pi Soundtrack. My theories are as follows:

1. "Rave" as a manifestation of post-structuralism subjectivity. Since the full MDMA induced rave is a psychic bond between all participants, the tendency is to view one's self as part of a whole. Joy is amplified by ten times the number of people in the same state of mind.
Corollary: The Rave state can only be maintained for a finite time (measured in hours). Loss of self results in severe psychotic states followed by days of exhaustion. A mental piercing structures incomprehensibility.

2. Paper on Yeats-Burroughs-Ballard connection coming nicely. A few more pages to round out information.

3. Poetry project has not even started. Perhaps a caffeine fueled burn from Barstow to Los Angeles to Las Vegas in a metaphorical sense. Only the deadly-serious can survive. Fuck the talk of "journeys being the better than the destination" My only desire is to arrive, isolate the moment of stepping foot in the door.

4. Going to a computer store to buy software for the poetry project. Seeing a play with Shelley tonight and then coming home to write a page or two for the paper.

5. Special friendship signals to northern Arizona, Los Angeles, Des Moines, Rittenhouse Square.
