But, as a Protestant, I can't really understand the intricacies of the Catholic faith, or of his importance to their belief system. But I respected him nontheless and hope that he finds peace.
At any rate, on Saturday I went and saw Sin City, the film in which, according to the Netscape webpage, Jessica Alba played a Las Vegas stripper... Ok, I understand that Las Vegas has been called "Sin City," but someone in their editorial department was asleep with their little green visor on (do they still wear those?). At any rate, I really enjoyed the movie. If you are a fan of comic books and don't mind some pretty graphic violence/imagery, I'd recommend it... if you liked Pulp Fiction or Reservoir Dogs, you'd like this movie... And if you like seeing naked ladies on screen, there are some pretty good shots of them too... (I'm such a teenage boy sometimes...):-) Saturday night I went to a friend's house and hung out for a while... very late, as a matter of fact. I slept in on Sunday, and then drove to the apartment to visit with Janel. Things are progressing... no more info than that right now. Oh, and the magazine is at the printer, so a couple more proofs and I'll have another one under my belt. Everyone has said it is a good issue, and between the hurricane and personal issues, it has been quite difficult at times to complete... but I did it. A sense of pride in my accomplishment almost overwhelms me... but then I start thinking about the next one... ha ha. Time to start from scratch again... That's about all I'm sharing right now. I hope everyone else had a great weekend, or at least had some great moments during their weekend. Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
