A more experienced blogger than me advised me to start small with this venture, go slowly, visit and comment on other blogs to get some notice--if I wanted it. So I have. I also had some time on my hands today (hey, I started working on my sermon at 5:00am!)so I have been "blog-sploring" a bit.

Some people have some very impressive blogrolls! I finally decided to have a tiny little baby blogroll--I get 50 links for free, and I'm all about the free. I hope to add to them eventually, as I read and blogsplore.

I also needed to stop using other people's blogrolls as my quickie links to other blogs. With the invention of site meters, I think there might be a couple of people out there who are convinced I am a stalker because of my number of hits to their site! To those, I apologize. What really happens is this: go to Blog X, link to another site, get interrupted by one of the kids, come back to computer, decide to go to another site, go back to Blog X because I can't remember if I bookmarked Blog Y yet...blah, blah. blah...

I'm still learning how this works. Thanks for being patient.
