Well, I'm hoping to take a break today from my crime-fighting responsibilities and take care of a few things that have been suffering benign neglect here at Chez Cheese:

1. Two words: junk drawer.

2. Take that pile of dry cleaning I've been walking past for three weeks to the actual place where nice people will clean it for me, press it, and put it on lovely hangers. Much better than crumpled up in a corner on the floor.

3. Convince WG to get her 12-or-so pairs of shoes out of the hall closet, and let them join the others in her big closet upstairs. I know what you're thinking. That's not a typo.

4. Take my own 6-or-so pairs of shoes upstairs, in a show of shoe solidarity. What can I say? We likes our footwear.

5. Clean out Sophie the car. Wash Sophie. Maybe even investigate getting my hands on some touchup paint so Sophie can have a pedicure.

6. Finally file that "To File" pile that is growing on my desk here at home. (Say that five times fast!)

7. Grocery shopping. I don't think I've done full-on grocery shopping in a couple of weeks. That's a very bad idea when there are two teenagers in the house.

So...unless I see someone harassing the elderly, or a puppy locked in a car, I'll probably be Cheesehead: Minding Her Own Beeswax today
