Because I really don't know how to do bullets.

* I have been trying to have phone conversations with some friends who live in another time zone. (But not Siberia, for corn's sake!) I generally have to make an appointment for a phone call--and I need at least 48 hours advance notice to do this. Plus we all have to decide ahead of time which numbers will be called because we each have at least three contact numbers. What happened to our lives, that we can no longer just pick up the phone and chat with a friend? This makes me sad for the world.

* Last month Songbird wrote a post about being at camp. She talked about Son #2's camp this year, which will be based on this song. Well, I'm a sucker for new music, so I acquired the song, and have been playing it nonstop for the last few days. My family is sick of it. Still, I can't get enough.

* I sat down this morning and planned out the rest of my vacation/study leave schedule for the year. Yes, I procrastinated this. I know people who do this each calendar year by Feb. 1. Well, I have personnel meeting tonight, so it absolutely had to be done today. I will be gone at least a week in every calendar month for the rest of the year, except August. VBS and the Office Admin's vacation are in August, so it would be very tough to get away. ( But I'm going away for 11 days in September! Yay for me!) Just knowing that I have these times ahead of me makes me very happy! Now I just need to find places to go--cheap places. Any ideas?
