Christopher Rowe UnCommonwealth 170713 Curiosities served |
2004-05-10 8:23 PM Yay, me Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (2) I know most of the people who read this journal do so to follow my writing career and the UnCommonwealth shorts ("What?" asks the newcomer, "What's he talking about there?") and the alleged progress on the alleged novel. If this sounds like you, then this isn't going to be a post that you'll be interested in.
Tonight, on the spiffy LeMond Reno that Ellen Datlow indirectly bought me, I set modern era (post-teenage, let's call it) Christopher Rowe records for top speed (35 mph with gravity assist, about 21 without), top average trip speed (15.9 mph over 27 miles) and probably cracked the top five in single trip distances. I also met my personal ride goal of hanging with the big kids for ten miles then bettered it by hanging on for another 15 on top of that (though they did slow down quite a bit in the second half of the ride). It was fantastic. We now return you to your regularly scheduled MTV video games. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
