Mood:
with my feet in the air and my head on the ground

So,

Sky is dead, but the LQ lives. Long live LQ!

LQ is, after all, where we started again this time. Anyway, so we hit it, we were early and I was up first. *Unfortunately*, I completely miscalculated and I thusly completely embarrassed myself with GN'R's "You Could Be Mine" (a la 'Terminator 2'). HOWEVER, I did manage to completely redeem myself with a near-perfect rendition of Tool's "Sober." That is one I think I will definitely do again. My third song, which was much later in the evening, was "Clint Eastwood," by Gorillaz. That one was, IMO, pretty good for a rap that difficult. It wasn't perfect, by any means, but I'm pretty sure I did it better than anyone else in the room might have and that's really what counts. I did miss out on an opportunity to do a few George Michael hits for the ladies, but that's ok. After all, there'll be plenty of time for that next week, s'right?

S'right.

Oh, additionally, I think I've taken it on myself to do at least one rap in my set from now on. I'm not really sure why, except that I'm really one of the only people in the crew who can (and listens to) rap.

So that's that.

If you wanna come along, lemme know. We can squeeze you in, I'm sure...
