So, yesterday (Saturday), Jean calls me up and we head out. The plan is to drop off the cat she's been taking care of for a while at the San Fernando Valley shelter 'cause she was only supposed to be holding it for someone who was going to take care of it later, but they got fucked outta their living situation and she got stuck. Now, since she's moving to a cheaper apartment in (of all places) Manhattan Beach, she's gotta get rid of it since they don't allow pets. Her dog, Chomper, who never got the chance to live in the new place, will either be staying with her friend Jay or with her mother.

Anyway, after we drop off the cat, we hit Melrose 'cause Jean's decided to get her nose pierced. We hit Thirteen BC, but they don't have the jewelry she likes, so we decide to walk up to House of Freaks. En route, we hit a few shops with some decent clothes (and some garbage). We also hit Red Balls and while she's trying on some pants, the power goes out on the block. Now, it's the same block as House of Freaks and since Jean's got no interest in getting pierced by candlelight, we go to the place across the street. A few bucks later, she's got a very small hole in her left nostril that will eventually have a ring in it. She dropped me off 'round 1830, I had some chinese food for dinner and took a nap.

That night, I hit a little birthday party at my buddy Andy's house 'round 2230. The place is packed with Goths. The booze count is...not high, but high enough that certain people who saw fit to get wasted got wasted. Since I drove myself, I only had a Cape Cod, a beer, and some of the Evil Weed, all of which were (effectively) out of my system by the time I left at around 0300

Shower, brush, sleep.
