Pirates vs. Ninjas (or ninja, if you're gonna be a stickler about it) was amusing and it was cool to hang with folks that I rarely ever get to see. Rare is probably an understatement, especially upon hearing the words, "Dude, the last time I saw you, you were a satyr!" coming out of the mouth of a half-naked man. My, how time flies. Anyway, my thanks to the Snake God and the Kitten for politely surviving the ride in my car to and from the event without exclaiming "OmyfuckingGodI'mgonnaDIE!" too many times. The fill-up was also greatly appreciated, considering this past week's adventures. Some of my B&N items came today. I'm keeping Tales of the Budayeen at bay until the last possible minute, so I can take my time in enjoying it. I'll probably re-read the rest of the series (When Gravity Fails, A Fire in the Sun and The Exile Kiss) before I start on it. If you haven't read these books, find 'em and tackle 'em. They rock. Sadly, I'll have to return Flash Gordon because I accidentally got the VHS instead of the DVD. Granted, the DVD's got nothing on it, but I've slowly become a DVD snob in the past three years and I want what I want. So, today's the first day of November. First day of NaNoWriMo. Also, it's Saturday night, which means I need to get out and do something with myself. Hmmm... Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
